From gusset plates to the most intricate designs, our water jet machine is able to create most any pattern your imagination can conjure. The machine runs on common proprietary DXF files which are generated from your common CAD generated files.
Aluminum Gusset Plates
Our aluminum contractors are taking full advantage of the convenience and cost savings of getting their gussets custom made and delivered the next day. Aluminum gussets today can run up to 1/4" thick. Handling this material, and then cutting the individual gussets to the exact pattern needed is a very time consuming and arduous task. It can even be dangerous. Now however, contractors can order online, by phone or by fax, and get their custom, precision-cut gussets next day and at a very reasonable cost.
Moment-Connection Gussets
Contractors are beginning to take advantage of the very favorable spans offered to those who build enclosures using moment connection construction. However, the plates needed to connect the upright posts to the beams are much more difficult to fabricate in the traditional way. In addition, the margin for error in cutting these patterns is much smaller. For this application in particular, our water jet system offers a huge upside to the contractor. Soon, our EZ Beam service will be offering a moment connection option that will effectively link the two applications.
